About Our Studio
Hands on Pottery has been offering Victoria a place to create with clay since 2010! We offer a variety of programs to learn what creating with clay is all about. A great place to start are our one-night Wheel Throwing and Hands-building workshops. If you’re ready to commit to clay, join one of our four/six/eight week Potter’s Wheel classes!

SOLD OUT for the class you were hoping for? Add yourself to the waitlist by clicking on the “sold out” class you’re interested in and add your email to the waitlist. If / when a spot opens up, everyone on the waitlist is notified and whoever books first gets the spot!
Can’t make it to this round of classes? Not to worry - our classes and workshops are scheduled every two months and registration opens two weeks prior.
Purchase Clay
We also have a selection of Cone 5/6 clay available for purchase at our studio, located at 810 Cormorant St.! You’re welcome to pop by Monday-Saturday between 10am-4pm and shop from the below clay types. Please note we do not currently offer kiln firing services, but we recommend Victorian Art Glass on David St. :)
Cancellations & Missed Classes
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to class — allowing time for us to rebook your space. If you must cancel your reservation less than 7 days before the first class, we will offer a credit if we are able to fill your space in time.
We do not offer refunds, rescheduling options or credits for cancellations made the day of your workshop.
Missed Classes for any 4, 6 or 8-week courses will not be rescheduled or refunded. Our team will do their best to ensure you don’t fall behind and that your pieces will be ready for the next class.
