This one-night workshop at Hands On Pottery is the ideal way to experience what it’s like to create something out of clay using the Potter’s Wheel. We will show you how to transform lumps of clay into cups and bowls. Once you’ve finished throwing your pieces on the wheel, you will choose your favourite one, and our team will glaze it in the colour of your choosing. You’ll have your finished masterpieces within 3-4 weeks, once we’ve glazed and fired it in the kiln!

Prices are PER PERSON – $75 each.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & Missed Classes/Workshops

ALL CANCELLATIONS are subject to a fee of $10 per participant.

Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to your program to be eligible for rebooking. If you must cancel your reservation within 7 days of the workshop, we can ONLY offer a credit to reschedule if we are able to fill your spot(s), and you pay a fee of $10 per participant.

RESCHEDULING - rescheduling can be done seven days prior to your program for a fee of $10 per participant. Rescheduling within seven days is only possible if your spot(s) are rebooked and you pay a fee of $10 per participant.

ALL REFUNDS are subject to a fee of $10 per participant.

Refunds will only be issued if you cancel at least seven days prior to your program.

Within seven days, no refunds will be issued.

MISSED CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

Missed classes and workshops are unable to be made up due to administrative logistics and capacity limitations in our studio.

We are unable to offer refunds or credits for missed classes.

In the event that we do not meet our minimum registration requirements 5 days prior to the workshop, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule – students will be notified via email.

Registrants will have the option to receive a full refund or a credit to attend a future program at no additional cost.

Picking Up your Finished Pieces

Your piece(s) will be ready 3-4 weeks after your workshop. You will have 4 weeks from the day we send your pickup email to collect your masterpieces. Unclaimed pieces will be donated to a local charity.

Covid Protocols

We have transitioned away from a mandatory mask policy. Although we are not requiring masks in our studio at this time, should this change, we may require that masks be worn while at the studio.

Given the close proximity and nature of teaching pottery, we will do what we feel is best to keep our staff safe while they are at work. We appreciate your understanding!
