Easter Family Clay Play! - Monday, April 21st - 10:30am-1:00pm
Join us for Easter Monday’s “Family Clay Play”! Our one-session workshops at Hands On Pottery are the ideal way to experience what it’s like to create something out of clay, and share the joy of creating with your family. You will learn the handbuilding technique of pinching, which you will use to create whatever your heart desires - sculptures, bowls, soap dishes, cups, creatures - you choose! We will show you how to transform lumps of clay into pinched masterpieces - once you’ve finished making your pottery, you can choose the colour of glaze and you’ll have your finished handmade pieces within 3-4 weeks, once we’ve glazed and fired them in the kiln!
Please note that this is a hand-building class and does not involve using a potter’s wheel. You can sign up for one-night wheel workshops here!
This workshop is friendly for all ages! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Prices are PER PERSON:
$65 for each person aged 16+.
$85 for one Guardian and one child under 16.
$105 for one Guardian and two children under 16.

Picking Up your Finished Pieces
Your pots will be ready for pick up the week after your last class just prior to your regular class start time. You will have 3 weeks to collect all of your pots. If you have not come to get them in that time they will be donated to a local charity.
Covid Protocols
We have transitioned away from a mandatory mask policy. Although we are not requiring masks in our studio at this time, should this change, we may require that masks be worn while at the studio.
Given the close proximity and nature of teaching pottery, we will do what we feel is best to keep our staff safe while they are at work. We appreciate your understanding!
